Russian Pro Boxer knocks down thugs who harassed his wife

These Russian thugs paid the price for harassing the wife of a professional boxer in a nightclub - when he knocked three of them out on his own.
Nicolai Vlasenko, 29, who is not only a professional boxer but also a martial arts expert, had gone to the bathroom of the club in Starokorsunskaya, but on his return he found a group of ten thugs trying to drag his wife into the club's VIP Room.

One of the gangsters, Leonti Yevdokimov, 33, suggested Vlasenko continue their discusison outside - where the lone fighter was outnumbered ten-to-one.
One of the men, Leonti Yevdokimov, 33, suggested that the boxer might want to continue the discussion outside - where a mob of around a dozen men were waiting.
Eyewitness Eldar Vinogradoff, 27, said: 'When they went outside, the others were there mob-handed. There were at least 10 of them led by the two who thought they were real big shots.

'One of them took off his shirt and started squaring up to the boxer, and I don't think he even knew what hit him as he went down like a bowling pin. A second man tried to kick the boxer and he was floored instantly as well.
'Then a third man joined in, and he was left staggering and on the point of collapsing after taking three blows to the head and not landing once himself.'

The rest of the gang's hangers-on decided discretion was the better part of valour, and devoted themselves to caring for the three floored thugs, who were left to lick their wounds - with the gang later hiring a lawyer to file a complaint to the local police that they had been attacked.
However, police have said they are taking no action after the CCTV images showed that the Vlasenko was clearly acting in self-defence, and that he had been on his own against nearly a dozen people who were on the other side.
Mr. Vlasenko’s lawyer said: ‘My client wasn't prepared to allow them to harass his wife. He was prepared to discuss it in a reasonable manner, but when they resorted to force than he was forced to defend himself with inevitable consequences.’
