The visiting Cincinnati Bengals were beating the New Orleans Saints 20-3 in the Superdome on Sunday, thanks to Bengals tight end Jermaine Gresham’s second touchdown catch of the contest.
So Gresham spotted a female Bengals fan sitting in enemy territory and felt compelled to toss her a nifty keepsake — the football.

But as the pigskin made its way through the air toward the Bengals fan’s waiting arms, a male Saints fan next to her suddenly reached in front of her…

…and swiped the ball!

She was even seen literally begging the guy to do the right thing, but all he could manage was a smile and a shake of his head.
