We've seen a lot of videos showing how touching it is to see that a mother gives birth to her child. But this time it's different, this is another video of a mother giving birth to a child but the child is not her baby, but her grandchild.
A 61-year old Kristine Casey successfully gave birth to a son for her daughter. Yes, you've read that right. Kristie Casey gave her daughter the gift of life by acting as the surrogate mother for her 35-year old daughter Sara Connell. Surrogacy is the act of carrying and giving birth to a baby for the couple who want to have a child. Just like what Kristine did, she acted as the surrogate mother for her daughter Sara Connell and her husband to have kids. In surrogacy, the pregnancy results from the transfer of an embryo created by in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Sara Connell had been trying to have baby since 2004, but unfortunately she ended with a miscarriage. The Connells then considered adoption but they really wanted a biological child of their own.
It was really a miracle that Kristine Casey still managed to give birth to her grandson knowing that it was a childbirth for post-menopausal. After they heard the baby's cry, there were no dry eyes inside the room because everyone was in tears after the successful birth.
