Everyone has been waiting for the remake of the 2000 television series entitled "Pangako Sa'yo". The long wait is over because finally, the remake was aired on Monday. Although the television series is just starting, the avid fans are indeed giving their full support to each cast of the series!
The Thursday episode of "Pangako Sa'yo" became the most talked about topic on twitter on Thursday, generating a total of one million tweets which once again made the TV series the number one trending topic worldwide.
The June 04 episode of 'Pangako Sa'yo' showed a shocked Amor (Jodi Sta. Maria) who just came home from Hong Kong yet the only thing she saw was the parts of their home that was ruined by the landslide caused by an earthquake.
The effects of the landslide were even worse because of the mining activities of Buena Sierra, the company that was owned by her former boyfriend, Eduardo (Ian Veneracion). Upon thinking that none of her loved ones survived, she then blamed everything on Buena Sierra which she also vowed that she will take revenge on Eduardo.
While showing how mad she is, Amor angrily tear a paper printed with a photo of Eduardo and his wife, Claudia (Angelica Panganiban).
"Lahat ng hirap at sakit, ibabalik ko sa inyo. Matitikman ninyo ang batas ng isang api!" Amor furiously said.
Unknowingly, Amor's daughter, Yna (Kathryn Bernardo) survived the disaster and she was taken by a policeman and his wife.
As soon as the series end that night, the total tweets already turned into 1.1 million with its official hashtag #PSYAngBatasNgApi. Which claimed the top one position in the local and worldwide trends.
