Kobe Paras defended his title on the 2015 FIBA U18 Slamdunk Contest!
A lot of Filipinos are indeed bringing pride to our country by competing internationally. We are all aware thatKobe Paras has been bringing pride to our country ever since he first claim the title as The Slam Dunk Prince during the 2013 edition of FIBA.
The son of the PBA legend Benjie Paras defended his title in the recent FIBA 3x3 Under-18 World Championship Slamdunk Contest.
Kobe Paras, 17 needed a perfect score to overcome the challenger from United States named Jalek Felton who scored a total of 29 on his amazing dunk.
He tried lots of times and a lot of awesome tricks yet het still wasn't able to reach the perfect score, he even jumped off of his 3 team mates and their coach to make a perfect dunk but he only got three marks of 9.
But then Kobe didn't give up, so he decided to ask for the help of one of his team mate named Ricci Rivero. He asked him to squat while holding the ball on top of him and there goes Kobe Paras, he did a reverse windmill which gave him a perfect 30 from the judges!
With the amazing reverse windmill, Kobe Paras was able to over come the competitor from United States.
Kobe Paras brought pride again to the Philippines by being the gold medalist of FIBA.
